Prof. Dr. René Sadowski

Professor of Entrepreneurship & Organizational Behavior

Dr. René Sadowski has been Professor of Entrepreneurship & Organizational Behavior at Quadriga University of Applied Sciences Berlin since 2021. He has also been with Egon Zehnder for around 15 years, focusing in particular on People & Organization and Family Business Advisory. His main focus is on the topics of value- and strategy-compliant organizational development, leadership succession and innovation. At the same time, he coordinates various international research projects in the fields of family business and human resources management.

Sadowski was project manager of the Family Board Academy e.V., a joint initiative of Egon Zehnder with McKinsey, KPMG and the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management for the education and training of potential and active members of supervisory and advisory boards in family businesses. At the same time, he was awarded a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Prior to his engagement at Quadriga University of Applied Sciences Berlin, Sadowski was Professor for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management at ISM – International School of Management in Berlin since 2017. As part of his professional career, he has lived in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Teaching

Prof. Dr. René Sadowski teaches primarily in the People & Organization specialization and in the associated basic modules of the MBA Leadership.

Research

Prof. Dr. René Sadowski coordinates various international research projects in the fields of family business and human resources management. He is also part of the research team for the professional field study “People & Organization” of the German Association of Human Resource Managers (BPM) and Quadriga University of Applied Sciences Berlin.
